	SMS commands

Being online everywhere

When you have no computer or internet you can always stay connected with the Umniah Chat using SMS interface.
One thing you should learn to be able to use the full chat functionality - SMS commands. This section will be your guide to the SMS chat.

SMS chat is very simple to use. Just send message with command to the short number 98000 to perform any of available chat actions.

General commands

LIST	Request a list of recent chatter under your room	LIST

. (DOT command)	Send message to a previous recipient. To simplify typing of a command you can use this command to chat with chatter, group or room you previously sent a message using TO command	TO CUTEGIRL hello, how are you? . i'm a man from Irbid and want to chat with you . where are you from Cutegirl?
READ	Read latest messages posted in your room. Unfortunately Public chat message are not broadcasted to the SMS chatters, and you need manually request for a latest messages using this command	READ
SET <language>	Change a language of system messages you will recieve. Umniah Chat is bi-lingual and you free to choose preferred arabic or english language for yourself.	SET english SET en SET arabic SET ar

HELP [<command>]	Request general Help or detailed help for any chat command	HELP HELP TO HELP NICK
OUT [<auto-reply>]	Go offline. After that will stop recieve any messages from Chat. You can leave auto reply message for other sms chatters writing to you. To go back online just send any other command.	OUT OUT be back for supper
HIDE	Switch to invisible mode. Your nickname will not appears in the list of online chatters	HIDE
UNHIDE	Switch to visible mode	UNHIDE

Personal Profile

Command	Description	Example

Working with Rooms

Command	Description	Example
ROOMS	List all available rooms and number of chatters inside	ROOMS
IN <roomname>	Change your room	IN SABAYA IN SHABAB IN CAFE
LIST	Request a list of recent chatter under your room	LIST
READ	Read latest messages posted in your room. Unfortunately Public chat message are not broadcasted to the SMS chatters, and you need manually request for a latest messages using this command	READ

Working with Groups

Groups allows you to chat with limited number of chatters under chosen group. You can create own group or join other chatters groups. Each chatter will have groupname similar to his/her nickanme with prefix PR i.e. PRchatter
Unlike rooms, group messages are broadcasted to chatter who online using any of available interfaces (SMS, WEB and WAP)

REJECT <nickname>	Reject chatter to join your group	REJECT BADBOY
LIST <groupname>	List group members and thier online status. You can apply this command for your group or groups your are a member of. Foreign group members will not be listed	LIST PRstalker
KICK <nickname>	Kick chatter out of your group	KICK BADBOY
LEAVE <groupname>	Leave any group your are a member of	LEAVE PRbored
TERMINATE	Terminate your group and kick all its members	TERMINATE

Search for chatters

FIND <keywords>	Search for chatter using keywords. Keywords can be a part of nickname, location, gender specifier, age, and personal profile keywords

Friends list, Ignore list, Black list

Command	Description	Example
FL <nickname>	Add chatter to your friends list. You can collect preferred chatters and recieve notifications when your friends enters the chat.	FL MYBUDDY

UNFL <nickname>	Remove chatter from list	UNFL MYBUDDY
BL <nickname>	Add chatter to your black list. Blacklist chatter will not be able to send private messages to you and even will not appears in a list of online chatters. Use Blacklist to block chatter who is annoying you	BL ANNOY
BL	View list of blacklisted chatters	BL
UNBL <nickname>	Remove chatter from list	UNBL BADGUY
IG <nickname>	Add chatter to your ignore list. Ignore list is similar to Blacklist with only difference in method of blocking. Ignored chatter may change thier nicknames to start chatting with you	IG FLOODER
